Nikolaos Giannoukakis

Παλαιό Μέλος
For the live broadcasts, here is the main link:

Nick Giannoukakis broadcasts every Tuesday at 6:30 (give or take a few minutes).

Apostolos Combitsis begins broadcasting on the 2nd of March on a separate Ustream Channel (Holy Week, using Priggos' Holy Week book [the original version, not the one recently published by Apostoliki Diakonia] which will be downloadable as a pdf file).

The archived Anastasimatarion sessions by Giannoukakis are here:

You will note some parts missing given that we only started recording in November, although we have begun studying the Anastasimatarion in September. We will return to those.

We have started with the eirmologic diatonic family of tones (1, 4, PL.1 , PL.4), now we have just entered the eirmologic chromatic (PL.2 and soon 2), then the eirmologic enharmonic (3 and grave) leaving out diatonic grave last. Then, the second round will repeat the entire generum cycle in the stichiraric anastasimatarion.

We feel that a good understanding of the eirmologic is important for any progress and understanding.

Currently, we are using the ANASTASIMATARION published by ZWH (Apostoliki Diakonia of the Church of Greece).

Since we are still discovering the details of the USTREAM application, we will be testing multiple camera mode soon (i.e. as we do parallagi/melos, another window will show the actual text/music and assuming we have a steady hand, we will be pointing the neumes as we go along).

For the Hatzichronoglou video archive, we will open it up before mid March.
