Hieromonk Neofit Rilski (1793-1881) was one of the most important personalities for the Bulgarian psaltic tradition in the 19th century. I take the liberty of publishing a short playlist of my performances of his compositions. It includes his own works and translations from classical Greek authors. There is evidence in Πανδέκτη that Fr. Neofit of Rila had an excellent knowledge of Greek music and his translations are excellent according to the Greek sources.
