Since there didn't seem to be an English version available already, I have posted a draft translation of Lycourgos Angelopoulos' address to the Symposium for Byzantine Music in Romania from December 2002 here. The Greek text is here. As this is a draft, I welcome comments, feedback, suggestions, and corrections, particularly as concerns translations of technical terms from Greek music theory. While I have enough of a background in Western music theory to at least think I know how some of the terms translate, with others I wasn't always certain, and in some cases I left terms untranslated when I had no idea. I generally tried to preserve the syntax and word order of the original except where it would render the English unintelligible.
