Hello All,

So for Presanctified tommorrow several rubrics (at least in the US liturgical guides) have 10 stichera at "Lord I Have Cried":

2 idiomelon for the day (done twice) - that night it's "Πάτερ ἀγαθέ, πάντων ὧν μοι δέδωκας.."
1 martyricon for the day ("Τῶν ἁγίων Μαρτύρων, πρεσβευόντων ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν")
3 from the triodion
3 for the Holy Martyrs (in the Menaion)

e.g.: https://dcs.goarch.org/goa/dcs/h/s/2026/03/09/pl2/gr-en/index.html

I can find the last six in the various English triodia or menaia, and then on the online Greek Triodion/Menaion at glt.goarch.org.

BUT, I can't find where "Πάτερ ἀγαθέ, πάντων ὧν μοι δέδωκας" and "Τῶν ἁγίων Μαρτύρων, πρεσβευόντων ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν" are in the Triodion. What am I missing?

Thank you!

Those are the hymns at the Aposticha for Vespers on Monday evening of the 3rd week of Lent. Since Presanctified Liturgy does not have Aposticha, when a Vespers service is "converted" into a Presanctified, those Aposticha hymns are moved to Lord, I have cried, and the Theotokion at the Aposticha is omitted.

(The reverse happens, by the way, when you have to do a regular Vespers when you were "supposed" to have Presanctified: the first idiomelon at Lord, I have cried is moved to the Aposticha, along with the martyrikon that follows it.)

Thank you very much Gabriel. I assume this is in the typikon. (well, specifically the English translations e.g. the bilingual version of the Violakis typikon). In the section on the Presanctified, and I will go prove it to myself momentarily.......

(and for that matter, it seems google searching the site for the text didn't work..... but if I only did "find" on the typikon entry for that Vespers I would have found it!!!.......)
