A RARE interview of +Lycourgos Angelopoulos in 1991(?) by Georgios Darlasis (in Nauplion, Greece) with even RARER old photos of him with his teacher +Simon Karas and The Society for the Dissemination of National Music! (+LA reminds me of Leonardo DiCaprio in some of those old stylish photos :).) In the interview, he explains how one of the main goals of The Greek Byzantine Choir is to present the vast historical repertoire of Byzantine Chant which is no longer heard in Church. He also explains how the musical civilization of Byzantine Chant has nothing lacking compared to other musical civilizations, including those of the West or the East. Therefore, he states Byzantine Chant should be taught more widely and at a much earlier age. The interview is followed by a short tribute from the thousands of radio programs he hosted over the decades in which he presented practitioners of Byzantine Chant from Greece and throughout the Orthodox Christian world.

The video by Georgios Darlasis, an accomplished chanter and choir director in his own right, is entitled "Tribute to Lycourgos Angelopoulos".

Is there a transcript of this? Greek is OK as unreliable as Google translate can be.
