The repertoire that will be covered during this 5-day seminar by Mr. A. Paivanas will be directly from the selection of compositions by Ioannis Protopsaltis, Chourmouzios the Archivist, Iakovos Protopsaltis and Petros Pelopponesios, primarily from the books of
Matins and
Divine Liturgy of
George Progakis, Musical Selection (Mousiki Syllogi), Vol. B and Γ᾽. 1909. Secondary sources will be chosen from the
"Pandekti" of
Ioannis Protopsaltis-Stephanos Lambadarios.

- The brief, heirmologic (syllabic) melodies, from the Anastasimatarion of Petros Lambadarios. Discussions on tempo, accidentals, intervals, structure and interpretation of melodies which include: Θεός Κύριος, Kathismata, Anavathmoi, Canons,

- A selection from the Polyelaios
«Ἐπί των ποταμῶν», (Upon the rivers), composed by Chourmouzios the Archivist in Tone III
Day 3 - May 17:
- A selection from the expanded (melismatic)
Doxology, composed by Petros Lambadarios in Tone IV, Hagia.
- The slow
«Αἰνεῖτε». from the Laudes, sung in Matins, in ancient
sticheraric form, in Tone VIII (πλ. δ´), composed by Iakovos Protopsaltis
