I got asked by a church musician who is principally active in Russian Orthodox circles what the overall assessment of David Melling (of blessed memory)'s work was. I had to confess that I didn't know, since he passed on somewhat before my time.

There are a good number of scores there, albeit apparently all in Western notation, as well as his book "Reading Psalmodia". Curious to hear how he's remembered.
