I am curious if anyone, particularly those who have studied the medieval asmatic offices, has any idea how the Service of Compline looked in the Cathedral (Asmatic) Rite. On a personal note, as a convert who grew up with the old breviary chanted rite of compline, while I embraced my conversion to Orthodoxy, the largely read office of Small and Great Compline were one of my greater "let-downs".
I am just curious how it looked as a point of reference.
