This episode in the series “BACKSTAGE” is dedicated to ANGELOS SIKELIANOS and EVA PALMER-SIKELIANOS, who have conceived and parented a revival of Ancient Drama in GREECE. Director TAKIS MOUZENIDIS and choreographer KOULA PRATSIKA participated in the theatre production of “PROMETHEUS BOUND” by AESCHYLUS in 1927. They discuss their memories and speak about EVA SIKELIANOU and her actions aimed at realising the vision of her companion. Throughout a large part of the programme, footage is screened of a film made by the GAZIADIS Brothers. Extracts are shown from the Games at the DELPHI Stadium and from the theatre production. THANOS VELOUDIOS was an associate of ANGELOS and EVA SIKELIANOS. He gives details about the preparation of the undertaking. Theatrologist DIMITRIS SPATHIS explains the ideological approach behind the design and production of the text by AESCHYLUS at DELPHI. Deeply moved, KOULA PRATSIKA speaks about the end of EVA SIKELIANOS and pays tribute to her.
