Hi all.

Has anyone checked out the chanting videos on You Tube. I have a page with a number of videos on there. the footage is boring and the quality of the recordings are fairly average. If you want feel free to give me some constructive feedback. positive or negative. i dont mind.

Hi Ioannis,
The quality of sound is a problem I think in these recordings. Could you perhaps upload an excerpt of you chanting in an audio file of some sort? And perhaps ask more explicitly what it is that you are after with regards to commentary?

John has already a page on Analogion with a clear recording. Here it is

It'd be nice to hear more from him though! :)

Btw I just noticed that he had sent me another recording to add and I never got to it (sorry Yianni!). So I attach it to this post.

enjoy :D

This is a YouTube video of a few members from the Holy Trinity Byzantine CHoir chanting the 2nd Mode Koinonikon of Phokaeus at St. John Chrysostom ROCOR Church in St. Louis. The psaltis performing melos here are: Leonidas Kotsiris, Thomas Carroll, Samuel Herron, Nathan Herron, Zachary Gresham, and Elizabeth Gharavi (yes we have a Turk, in fact two, in our Byzantine choir. :))

Enjoy!
