Can anyone here give some good background or information regarding the influence that Sakellaridis had upon the Arabic chant tradition?
I'm most interested in the following:
1. History of Sakellaridian influences in the Arabic-speaking world.
2. The chanters, choirs & chant books in Arabic that follow the Three Teachers and traditional chant, as opposed to following Sakellaridis.
3. Do modern efforts in the Patriarchate of Antioch reflect Sakellaridis or the Three Teachers, or their own method?
