Best free website or software for learning greek?

I'm sorry for posting off-topic... I just want to start learning koine greek (note: I don't know modern greek either).

Decided to ask here since there are both Greek and English speakers on the forum, so perhaps someone knows a good website or program. Anyone have any recommendations?

P.S. I speak Russian as well. If someone knows of a good online resource or piece of software for Russian speakers, then that is fine too.

Here is one alternative:
As a start, one (virtually) free method of learning modern Greek for English-speaking students is the Cortina method.
Your profile unfortunately does not mention where you live (it may be mutually very useful to you and to other forum members, if your place is known) because then I might be able to send more comprehensive info.
If you live in the USA you can order a used Greek method for as little as
$0.01 plus postage, say the cost of a cup of coffee:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=greek cortina
If you live in a different country you have two choices:
- Ask a friend of yours who lives in a country where amazon delivers the cheap book, or
- Buy a slightly more expensive one, which Amazon does deliver to your place.
