I'll record these tonight, if they turn out well I'll post them here and let Gabriel have a chance to hear it done.

Thanks Sam.

I forgot to mention that the Vespers Doxastikon is essentially based on the setting that Michael posted on page 1; I changed some lines, fixed some missing fthorae, and played with it a little bit. The piece remains essentially the same, though - I tried to preserve the theseis from Kypseli, which Michael already had done a good job of. It's an interesting piece; I distinctly remember when I was at Simonopetra last summer and one of the fathers chanted it - the modulations at the beginning made an impression on me.

Second one is the whole Aposticha from last night. Sorry. Also sorry that the image is a zoom in of my face at the beach. Can't figure that out.

If you registered using your Facebook, it probably grabbed whatever you used on that account and carried it over -which, I think, is what happened with me, except I don't get to the beach that often.

You're yphos is very nice.

Gabriel,

Have you set any of the Idiomela for the Forerunner on Aug. 29 and 30? In particular:

  • Lord I have cried Doxasticon in Plagal 2nd (for Aug. 29)
  • Aposticha Doxasticon in 4th Mode (for Aug. 30)

Thanks.

In Christ,
Rdr. Michael

Hello Matthew,

I haven't set anything yet, but I will see what I can do. Say a prayer.

In Christ,
Gabriel
