Often in music texts there is not special sign that give the chanter a sign to take breath. So can you tell me some adivce.

Is it ok if there is clazma (when one note last two takts), the chanter to shorten the note on one takt and take breath ?

Thank you

you could do that. but don't forget you can add staurous in the music score where it makes sense to take a breath
also martyries and pauseis are good points for a breath

see at the attached page, where the crosses are added/marked
(very important also when a choir chants together for all to take breath at the same time)

I have seen phrases with 2 beat ending implied as a breath, by taking a breath on either the last whole beat or last 1/2 beat of the Klasma or Dipli.
