Byzantine Chant in Spanish

Hey everyone,

Since there isn't a thread specifically for the discussion of Byzantine chant in Spanish, I thought I'd start one, given the work of Sbdcn. Karim El-Far in this area. So here are a couple of links related to the subject:

Music (mostly Byzantine notation, some Western staff) for various services, some apolytikia of saints, etc:

Apparently the choir also sells CDs... there are five, I believe.

Also, Sbdcn. Karim El-Far has available the following: Small Paraklesis in Spanish (recording of which can be found also on this site), and Divine Liturgy:

Enjoy; feel free to add to these.

The chanting in Spanish had someting strange to my ear but, nevertheless it' s a nice try.

The arabic chanting is very good and Sbdcn. Karim El-Far has excellent voice quality.

P.S. Check this site of St. Anthony's monastery in Arizona. I think it's the best on Byzantine Music especially for English speakers.

You may be interested in the Kekragarion, 1st tone which I wrote in 2006,
as requested by Fr.Nektarios of Monasterio de la Santisima Trinidad, Mexico City.

It is based on the musical text of Ioannis Protopsaltis
with some adaptations for the Spanish text.

Needless to say, I ask no copyright to it, simply mention its source.
