Koinonikon for the Exaltation of the Cross

There are koinonika in all eight modes, but none of them is particularly short.
One other composition that I found is this one:

Although CMKON administration (or Eustathios Vingopoulos himself?) put Vingopoulos' (Lampadarios of Nafpliotis) name on top of it, in essence it is Petros Lampadarios' composition.
There might exist short compositions by Ioasaph Dionysiatis or Dositheos Katounakiotis, but I don't have their books to check.

The kratema is optional and the eisagoge (first 3 lines of music) in principle can also be omitted because of time considerations.
Furthermore, Konstantinos Protopsaltis wrote koinonika of the Cross basically in every mode and they can be found in the second volume of his Anthology (koinonika are arranged by modes there):

A more contrived solution would be this one: Papa Ephraim wrote a very short koinonikon in English, see

If you chant in English, if it is a small parish and if the priest/parishioners are OK with kratemata, you might consider chanting this short one and then insert kratema before Alleluia, for instance the one by Petros from his koinonikon of the Cross in the 3rd Mode (see my previous message for a link to Pandekti). That would stretch the thing to about 2 min. "Tou deipnou sou" can be done during the communion of the laity.
